Blockchain-Enabled Secure Communication Framework for Ship-to-Shore Data Exchange in Smart Maritime Networks
Main Article Content
Abstract
Maritime Communication Cooperative Framework uses a consensus-based PBFT to protect the exchange for maritime ship-to-shore data in smart maritime networks that incorporate AIS, ECDIS, and IoT systems. Data being put on a public blockchain would alter itself to challenge AIS anti-spoofing and DoS attacks. MATLAB-based simulations demonstrated that the approach is indeed secure with a high level of resilience. An acceptable operational percentage of 37% latency is introduced as part of blockchain integration despite its effectiveness in preventing attacks against maritime communication infrastructure. The analysis of scalability also suggests that there is an increase in throughput with a decent clip. Modeling reviews of consensus overhead can further streamline the proposed enhancement. The outlined deep learning architectures, classification, regression, and anomaly detection technique-Autoencoder validate robustness and predictability of the system. This proposed approach is quite useful in enhancing cybersecurity mechanisms for maritime communication while sustaining performance.
